This is the first school of its kind in the New York City area. (We have a sister school in Livonia, New York, near Rochester, and another in Rockland County.) Our school teaches you all you need to know to get started in the DENTAL PROFESSION. It is a 10-week course, one day each week (either Wednesday or Saturday). We designed it this way so that people can work at their current jobs while they train for a NEW CAREER IN DENTISTRY.

You will be taught by experienced dental assistants, IN A REAL DENTAL OFFICE.
There is no need to be nervous, because THERE WON'T BE ANY PATIENTS AROUND!!!! You will be training in very small groups, with others who want to change their career direction, just like you.
No previous experience in dentistry is needed, just the desire to become part of a respected PROFESSION.

Meet some of our school's staff members
Dr. James Rodriguez, is the owner and director of the school. In addition to 23 years of private practice, he has been teaching for 22 years, since graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 1988. He will help you get the knowledge you need to be part of a DENTAL TEAM.
Jane Ventiera is an agent for the school. She has been working in the medical and dental field for more than 15 years. She coordinates the school's business office, and deals with all the administrative issues for our students. She will provide our prospective students with information regarding class dates and times, our flexible payment plans, and tours of the school. She is experienced in electronic billing, patient relations, scheduling appointments and handling telephones.
MariAnna Galeno is one of our instuctors, and a graduate of our program. She is now in her fourth year as a dental assistant, and also attends NYU College of Dentistry where she is studying to be a registered dental hygienist. She is responsible for lectures, and hands on training, especially in taking impressions and x-ray technique. She also is primarily responsible for assistance with job placement.
